The written word communicates in a different way than a photograph. Individually they are as good (or bad) as they come and a good book is always better than a bad photograph, and vice-versa. When taking a photograph I never think that it will need a written explanation, or a capture. But when looking at other photographers work, I also like to know a bit more behind the photograph than the obvious things you see. And the blog platform allows you to branch out a bit. To comment on things slightly further away from your photographs.
I will use this forum, this platform, with discrimination. I will do my best to say something interesting or even inspiring, but who can guarantee that?
